Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are what make Public Radio Delmarva's value to the community unlimited!

We understand that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment.

Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun!

Here are just a few ways you can volunteer at Public Radio Delmarva:

Answer phones during membership drives.
Conduct tours of our facility.
Various clerical assignments, such as data entry.
Assist with mailings in our membership department.
Receptionist duties at the front desk.

Volunteer Annoucers Needed

Currently seeking a volunteer for Monday evenings from 8-midnight

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer announcer? Public Radio Delmarva is looking for reliable men and women who share our passion for classical music, have friendly voices, and the desire to learn.

Announcing is more than just playing CD’s and talking about the music. We will train you how to operate the control board, how to properly use a microphone, and how to operate our automation system.

Our volunteer shifts are weeknights from 8-12PM, Saturdays from 1-5PM and 5-8PM, and Sundays from 1-5PM and 5-8PM.
